In research with Black mothers who participate in online groups for breastfeeding support, one thing is clear.... Black mothers desire to be supported along their breastfeeding journey by other Black mothers.
We are creating a national directory of breastfeeding support groups for Black mothers and have identified groups throughout the United States. Now, we are asking for your input before finalizing this document, which will be available on our website. Please review the document here and provide any additional information about support groups not listed by sending an email to blackgirlsbreastfeedingclub@gmail.com.
